Special Request...

In honor of Autism Awareness, I am asking two things of you.  1.  Wear blue on April 2 to commemorate World Autism Awareness Day on Friday and 2.  If you are thinking of purchasing any Close To My Heart items, do it during the month of April, as from today until May 1, I am going to donate 15% of my profits to ACRP (http://www.acrpkids.org/) and Autism Speaks (http://www.autismspeaks.org/). They believe that my son is on the Autism Spectrum and I have many friends who's children have autism.  Thank you in advance!

A quick little basket

Here's one of the reasons I love repositionable tape - you can cut out a pattern without tracing it on paper first, which means no pencil marks or erasing marks!  First, you'll want to cut out most of the pattern, then using repositionable tape, place it on your paper that you are cutting out.

Next, start cutting out around the solid lines

Continute until your template is completely cut out.
Once cut out, score along the dotted line.  If you don't have a Scor-Pal, or similar product, you can use your cutter without the blade and either an embossing tool or bone.  Run either product down the cutting line to give your cut out a crisp fold line.

Remove your template and fold along the scored lines.  Tape with permenent adhesive and wa-la!

A quick and easy Easter basket!  Just put some grass in and some candy and you're done! We'll be making this quick and easy basket at Girl's Day out on Saturday!
